This class is for the beginners who have never learned Japanese. Students can learn Japanese without the pressure of memorizing hiragana and katakana (Japanese phonetic symbols)

The students learn the basic expressions for:

• Greetings

• Self-introduction

• Communicating with front desk clerks at hotels

• Communicating with salesclerks

• Communicating with taxi drivers, bus drivers, etc.

• Buying over-the-counter medication

Just Getting A will meet from 6:30 - 7:30 PM on Tuesdays from 3/24 to 5/12. Please see the class schedule here for details.

Just Getting B will meet from 6:30 - 7:30 PM on Tuesdays from 3/24 to 5/19. You will not have class on 5/5 and a makeup class is scheduled on 5/19. Please see the class schedule here for details.

10% late registration fees will be in effect from 12 PM (CT) March 20, 2026 for Session 2 classes.
