  • Petroleum Club of Houston 1201 Louisiana St, 35th Floor Houston, TX 77002 (map)

What happens when global business leadership meets a passion for creating a more inclusive world?

Join the Japan-America Society of Houston (JASH) for a special Business Leaders Roundtable featuring Ignacio “Nacho” Torras, CEO of Tricon Energy and founder of Genuine Cup, an international soccer tournament dedicated to empowering athletes with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and autism.

Bringing together athletes from around the world, Genuine Cup demonstrates the extraordinary power of sport to break down barriers, celebrate individual abilities, and foster meaningful connections across cultures and communities.

Drawing on his experience leading a global business and founding Genuine Cup, Torras will discuss the vision behind the initiative, the challenges and rewards of bringing an ambitious international endeavor to life, and how business leaders can leverage their networks, resources, and influence to create lasting social impact.

Through candid conversations with distinguished executives and innovators, JASH's Business Leaders Roundtable series explores leadership, entrepreneurship, and the ideas shaping our interconnected world.

Join us for an inspiring morning exploring how leadership extends beyond the boardroom—and how the universal language of sport can help build a world where everyone belongs.

Registration is FREE for JASH Corporate Members with code, and $45 for non-members (breakfast included). Space is limited and advance registration is required.

About the Speaker:

Ignacio Torras

Ignacio Torras is Tricon’s primary shareholder and has been President of the company since the company’s inception in 1996. Motivated by the idea of creating a global trading and marketing company that specializes in a few products, he founded Tricon with the focus of clients, suppliers and most importantly, employees, as a priority. Before collaborating to start Tricon, he was hired by a Houston based chemical and gasoline trading company in 1988. Prior to that, he began his commodity trading career in Brazil, trading a wide range of commodities on the Brazil to China trade line. Ignacio was born in Barcelona, Spain, immigrated to Brazil in his youth and now lives in Houston, Texas.
