HOUSTON, Texas - The Japan-America Society of Houston (JASH) welcomed Corporate Members on Friday morning for an exclusive Japan-Texas Business Leaders Roundtable Breakfast featuring Hiroki Inagawa, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Monstarlab, one of Japan’s leading global digital transformation companies.

The breakfast brought together business leaders from across the Houston region for meaningful discussion on innovation, leadership, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and the expanding business relationship between Japan and Texas.

Founded in Japan, Monstarlab has grown from a startup into a global digital engineering and strategy firm operating across 12 countries with a strong presence in Asia and the Americas. Under Inagawa’s leadership, the company brings together expertise in business strategy, design, technology, data, and artificial intelligence to deliver digital solutions for organizations around the world.

During the discussion, Inagawa shared insights from Monstarlab’s global work with clients across a wide range of industries, illustrating how digital transformation extends beyond implementing new technology to creating seamless customer experiences and long-term business value.

Among the examples highlighted was Monstarlab’s collaboration with Shake Shack, where they developed an in-store ordering ecosystem designed to improve the customer experience while preserving the brand’s hospitality. This project reduced wait times, streamlined ordering, created new opportunities for personalized recommendations, and increased average customer spending.

Throughout the morning, Monstarlab emphasized the importance of bringing together technology with human-centered design, noting that successful digital transformation requires organizations to understand customer needs and remain adaptable in an increasingly globalizing economy.

The roundtable also provided Corporate Members with the opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and discuss emerging trends in both Japan and the United States. The breakfast fostered valuable communication among executives while strengthening connections within Houston’s international business community.

JASH extends its appreciation to the Monstarlab team for sharing their expertise and global perspective, as well as our Corporate Members whose participation made the discussion a meaningful exchange of ideas.

Events such as the Japan-Texas Business Leaders Roundtable Breakfast reflect JASH’s ongoing commitment to strengthening business ties between Japan and Texas while creating opportunities for collaboration and innovation.
